What You'll Do
- Design for Impact: Create innovative, user-focused designs for indoor/outdoor tools and hardware that stand out in a competitive retail environment.
- Bring Ideas to Life: Develop sketches, CAD models, and photorealistic renderings that tell compelling product and brand collection stories.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure your designs are as practical as they are beautiful.
- Champion the Brand: Infuse every design with brand DNA, ensuring consistency that aligns with established guidelines, packaging, in-store displays, marketing/media, and digital touchpoints.
- Stay Ahead: Track and research trends in materials, finishes, consumer behavior, and the market as a whole to keep our products fresh, innovative, and relevant.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field.
- Experience: 3 years designing consumer products—hardware or power tools experience is a big plus.
- Skills:
- Expert in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo) and rendering tools (KeyShot, V-Ray).
- Strong sketching and storytelling ability.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost considerations.
- Ability to relate and design to the customer’s perspective and needs
- Portfolio: A showcase of designs that balance form, function, and retail appeal.
