Help Desk Technician (Part-Time)
On-site - Bentonville | Flexible Schedule
Hourly | 18-20 hours per week
Applicants must reside within driving distance to Bentonville, Arkansas.
Role Overview:
As the IT Support Specialist, you will provide in-person technical support across our organization. You will be responsible for maintaining workstations, assisting with Office 365 administration, troubleshooting network issues, and helping staff with day-to-day IT needs. The schedule is flexible, with approximately 15–20 hours per week to be worked on-site during business hours, and occasional availability for remote support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other office equipment.
- Provide on-site technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Administer and manage Microsoft Office 365 accounts, including user setup, licensing, and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and assist with connectivity issues.
- Install, update, and maintain software across devices.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
- Coordinate with outside vendors or service providers for additional technical needs.
- Assist in ensuring best practices for data security and IT policies.
- Provide occasional remote support outside of on-site hours, if needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in IT support, help desk, or technical services role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Mac OS, and Windows OS.
- Familiarity with basic networking (Wi-Fi, routers, IP configurations).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Experience with both Windows and Mac environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is a plus.
