What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate & Health Care Attorney position at Nilan Johnson Lewis PA?
We seek an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to support our Corporate and Nonprofit and Health Care Practice Groups. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with or interest in one or more of the following:
- Drafting operating agreements and corporate formation documents.
- Trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and brand protection.
- Seeking exempt status for nonprofit entities.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including health care agreements.
- Regulatory compliance, including health care and corporate regulatory matters.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of corporate and transactional experience. Knowledge of or experience with health care or nonprofit entities desired.
- Exceptional research and writing skills required.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills along with experience with direct client contact.
- Academic credentials will be weighed along with other indicators of ability, motivation and initiative.
- Must be admitted to practice in MN (or eligible).
Compensation:
We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
The salary range for this position is: $195,000 - $205,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for this position based on an 1800 Billable Expectation. Associates (with input from practice group leadership and the Board) will set a Billable Expectation between 1600-1800 billable hours annually. A Billable Expectation less than 1800 hours results in a pro-rated salary.
