Job Overview
We are seeking new team members for our kitchen crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation or someone who is dedicated and eager to learn. This role requires an understanding of various cooking techniques, food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals that satisfy our customers' cravings.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of favorites including pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking equipment and utensils.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations based on seasonal ingredients.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management for ordering supplies.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while preparing food.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills, particularly in pizza making.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Experience in catering or fine dining environments is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork in the kitchen.
• Creative mindset for menu planning and developing unique pizza offerings.
• Previous experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
