Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent navigation skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
• Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
• Ability to load and unload heavy items safely; familiarity with forklifts is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the road.
• Previous experience as a courier or van driver is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial but not required.
