Position Overview
Nikki Beach Hospitality Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations & Communications Intern to support the PR and Communications team with day-to-day activities, outreach, and strategic planning initiatives.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to hospitality, lifestyle, travel, and brand communications, providing the opportunity to work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and global locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Join calls with PR agency partners and location marketing managers to follow PR strategy updates and local news
- Track press coverage for all properties using Muck Rack and compile monthly highlights and reports
- Update and maintain media lists across consumer travel, lifestyle, fashion, trade, and business outlets
- Assist with drafting press releases, press kits, pitches, and other media-facing materials
- Support the creation and distribution of internal and external newsletters
- Draft talking points and key messaging for press interviews and PR campaigns
- Coordinate, document, and report on media visits to Nikki Beach properties
- Support research projects, trend spotting, and competitive analysis
- Assist with ad-hoc PR and communications projects as needed
- College junior or senior pursuing a BA/BS in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- Available to work Monday–Friday, remotely or from the Brickell (Miami) office
- (hours flexible based on class schedule and credit requirements)
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Ideally completion of at least one prior PR internship, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle, or travel
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams and priorities
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
