CNC Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Starting Pay: $21.00–$24.00/hour
Candidates with advanced CNC machining, setup, Mazak, or 5-axis experience may qualify for higher starting pay based on experience and skills.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Nikel Precision Group is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for our first-shift team in Saco, Maine. What You’ll Do

• Operate CNC machines to produce precision machined parts
• Read travelers, blueprints, tool sheets, and inspection instructions
• Load parts, fixtures, and workholding into CNC equipment
• Monitor machine operation, tooling, alarms, and part quality
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges
• Make basic machine adjustments within established process requirements
• Identify machine, tooling, or quality concerns and notify the appropriate team member
• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation

Required Qualifications

• CNC operation experience or machining-related training
• Ability to read work instructions and basic blueprints
• Experience using basic measuring tools
• Basic shop math skills
• Ability to work first shift on-site in Saco, Maine

Preferred Experience

• CNC milling, Mazak, or 5-axis machining experience
• Precision manufacturing, aerospace, medical, or ISO-regulated manufacturing experience
• Setup, offsets, fixture loading, or first-piece inspection experience

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
