Internship Overview:
USSC is looking for motivated students to assist in camp operations and customer service initiatives. The Summer Customer Service Intern will work directly with the Camp Success Team to ensure the highest quality of customer service to camper families in a fast-paced environment. This role requires organization, resourcefulness, incredible customer service, and total follow-through. This internship is designed to expose the individual to all parts of our organization and allow them to gain hands-on experience and insights into what is involved in running the largest sports camps company in the world. The intern will gain academic credits and valuable education pertaining to the sports industry through regular business insight presentations, meetings, and Q&A’s with multiple members of the Leadership Team who manage operations, business development, marketing, finance, IT/development, partnerships, sponsorships, and more!

Qualifications and Details
- Eligible candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and will receive academic credit for this internship.
- This is an unpaid internship and is not eligible for USSC employee benefits
- Bonus considerations will be made for the intern at the conclusion of the internship based on performance.
Internship Dates
- Summer: ~May 15 - August 4th, 2023 (12 weeks)
Scope of Work
- Provide outstanding customer service to campers families through strong professional phone and email etiquette and a helpful and proactive approach
- Help customers obtain information, complete their enrollment, and resolve any other needs via phone and email
- Leverage SOPs, FAQs, and other resources to gather information and solve problems
- Identify and/or escalate issues for resolution
- Manage camp waitlists and balance dues
- Work collaboratively with other departments and staff as needed
- Assist with other company projects as needed suited for intern’s skill set

- At least one year of customer service experience
- Proficient computer skills (including Microsoft Office applications)
