More About the Role  

Join our Digital Lab team as a New York-based Social Media Associate! Dive into a dynamic role, working on a variety of accounts! Your chance to fuel the creative spirit starts here!  In this role, you will contribute to the strategic management of client social channels. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brands' online personas, driving engagement, and maximizing their social media footprint.

Responsibilities 

  • Effective, Authentic and CreativeSocial Media Strategy: Lead the execution of social media content calendars and providing recommendations on partners, which includes copywriting, hashtag recommendations, while maintaining a premium aesthetic for scheduled posts. Assist in devising and implementing social media strategies to meet brand objectives, enhance reach and engagement, and bolster audience expansion on diverse platforms.  Managing the posting scheduled for content across channels.

  • Clear and Thoughtful Client Communication: Helps keep clients informed about engagement progress, community management, and deliverable timelines through effective communication

  • Thoughtful Collaboration for Content Creation and Organization: Collaborates with teams across the agency to devise proactive solutions for creating social media campaigns, capturing high-quality content during activations, and coming up with ideas for eye-catching content throughout the year for multiple social media applications (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn), while also editing and organizing  assets aligned with brand guidelines that resonate with the intended audience.  

  • Results and Analytics Driven: Utilize social media management tools such as TalkWalker, Sprinklr, Sprout Social and Linkin.bio, in addition to analytics, to assess insights on campaign performance, track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and derive insights for continuous improvement informing future social media initiatives.
  • Community Building & Management Oversight: Oversees our community management team to ensure we’re fostering  relationships with our online community and engaging in reactive and proactive communications  on client social media channels.  

  • Social Media Enthusiasm and Trend Identification: Maintains a keen eye on the social media landscape, including trends, application enhancements, and emerging technologies.  Proactively suggests ideas based on trends to ensure alignment with our target audience.  Leading competitor and industry trend audits/analyses to identify best practices and strategies. 

Qualifications 

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in Social Media Management for multiple brands in a team environment  

  • Client Communication Experience: At least one year of experience being involved in client interactions on a day-to-day basis, via e-mails, calls and meetings.  

  • Strategy Implementation: Showcases a track record of effectively crafting and implementing social media strategies that propel audience growth, enhance engagement, and elevate brand recognition. Paid social media experience is a plus!  

  • Creative Suite & Canva Familiarity: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva would be a huge asset, especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop.   

  • Creative & Writing Excellence: Displays creative thinking skills, adept writing skills, and a meticulous eye for detail, both in day-to-day communications as well as social media copywriting.  

  • Analytical Acumen & Algorithm Familiarity: Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills and knowledgeable about social media algorithms, trends, and best practices across various platforms.  

  • Reporting and Analytics Experience and Skills: Proficiency with tools and services for effective Social Media reporting, such as Talkwalker, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Social Bakers, etc.

The salary range is $59,000 - $66,000 annually.
