Summary
The Parts Picker & Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for the picking and organization of parts for the start of the assembly process. This individual will work closely with Shipping & Receiving, Production, and Assembly Departments to stage parts for each new job starting in the assembly department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Material handling including moving materials to warehouse/transferring of materials between sites
- Picking and staging parts for orders
- Picking parts from bin locations for jobs and distributing to correct personnel and making appropriate inventory entries through ERP system
- Printing out and checking bills of materials for jobs to be sure all parts are received, correct, and staged on job carts for assembly
- Entering non-job-related inventory transactions in computer
- Monitoring inventory stock levels
- Notifying purchasing manager about adjustments needed to inventory locations, quantities, etc.
- Review and validate requested adjustments for accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Assist with receiving deliveries
- Verify parts received against packing list
- Verify packing list to purchase orders
- Receiving parts into ERP system
- Back up to shipping and receiving
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and perform basic math functions
- Requires knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Experience with ERP systems
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands
- Bending, reaching, squatting
- Climbing on and off forklift as necessary
- Lifting of up to 50 pounds; lifts of more than 50 pounds require mechanical aids or team lifting
- Operate hand and/or power tools

All employees work in a climate-controlled production facility environment. However, some positions may be exposed to hot temperatures in the summer months and cold temperatures in the winter months. Pay Range Model according to years of service:
Entry level pay: <4 years
Median level pay: 4 - 6 years
Top level pay: 6 years
Pay: $23.90 - $27.05 per hour
