Test and Validation Engineer I (clearance required) - Security Clearance Required

Nightwing is seeking to hire an enthusiastic entry-level Test Engineer to work on a small team in a dynamic, mission focused environment.

The candidate for this entry-level job will be required to test, inspect, upgrade, and maintain various types of electronic equipment. The candidate will work with customers, vendors, and fellow team members to quickly resolve issues, and to devise creative solutions to problems. The candidate will develop test procedures and use available resources to track and report status to management.

• Clearance required : Must have an active TS / SCI with Poly

Required Skills :

Basic experience with test equipment

Fundamental understanding of RF electronics theory

Competency with desktop computing and application programs (Microsoft Office, email, instant messaging, databases)

Organized, innovative team player

Must have an active TS / SCI security clearance with Polygraph

Desired Skills :

Solid understanding of RF, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and Cellular technologies

Advanced experience with test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.)

Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Required Education / Experience :

An Associates degree with equivalent experience or a BS degree with no experience required. Additionally, candidates without a degree who have 8 years of work experience will be considered.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
