The Nightwing business provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers' most demanding challenges. Nightwing Special Projects ELITE (SPE) brings together an elite team of mission-focused industry experts who are well known for their ability to overcome the most advanced challenges.
This position is an onsite role in Springfield, VA.
Responsibilities
Assist with property management tasking such as shipping, receiving, and tracking of government procured equipment
Support the implementation of lean principles and practices to improve workflow of logistics procedures
Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics processes and integration with engineering work
Use Power Bi, Excel, and other tools to create dashboards, develop metrics, track scores, and perform analytics on logistics procedures
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Identify gaps in processes and develop solutions to meet the business needs of the logistics team
Requirements
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited degree program, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous coursework or experience in supply chain, warehouse/distribution, or related fields
Familiarity with logistics operations and procurement practices
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong Attention-to-detail And Organizational Abilities
Experience with data collection and analysis
