Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Maintain floors through buffing and basic floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials to keep facilities fully equipped.
- Conduct routine janitorial duties across all office areas, including conference rooms, break areas, and reception zones.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to facilitate quick resolution.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a secure environment for all staff and visitors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a focus on commercial or office environments.
- Knowledge of custodial practices including floor care and industrial cleaning techniques such as buffing.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like trash disposal, restocking supplies, and basic repairs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning routines.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
