Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and residential facilities. Your efforts will ensure safe, spotless environments that meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment to ensure effective sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring integrity.
- Maintain supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low or replacements are needed.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with custodial duties related to industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance as needed.
- Support minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or repairing fixtures to ensure facility upkeep.
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor scrubbers safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning motions throughout the shift.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
