All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing AP operations, including invoice processing, reimbursements, and payment activities. This role ensures efficient workflows, adherence to internal controls, and alignment with organizational financial objectives.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily AP operations, including invoices, reimbursements, and payment processing.
- Ensure timely processing and adherence to SLAs across AP functions.
- Manage and support AP staff, including Analysts and Clerks.
- Monitor workload distribution and team performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee payment processes, including review of payment batches and coordination with Treasury.
- Ensure proper segregation of duties across vendor setup, payment preparation, and approvals.
- Partner with Procurement and Treasury to support efficient workflows.
- Monitor AP metrics, including processing timelines, backlog, and error rates.
- Support audit requests and ensure documentation readiness.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Provide reporting and insights to leadership on AP performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4-7 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience.
- 2 years supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of AP operations and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
