Nightingale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Crossett, Arkansas is seeking a fulltime Treatment Nurse to join our dedicated clinical team. This position is open to Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who are passionate about providing highquality wound and treatment care in a skilled nursing setting.
Position Summary
The Treatment Nurse is responsible for delivering and overseeing wound care and other prescribed treatments, ensuring best practices are followed, and supporting positive clinical outcomes for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform wound care and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Accurately document treatments, wound progress, and resident responses
- Monitor skin integrity and report changes promptly
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate residents and staff on wound prevention and treatment plans
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of Arkansas (or compact license)
- Previous experience in wound care or treatment nursing preferred
- Experience in a skilled nursing or longterm care setting strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and teamoriented
