About The Role
Night Owl Janitorial is hiring today for a friendly, reliable Housekeeping team member to serve residents at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise, ID. As part of our premium commercial cleaning team—serving Idaho since 1995—you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for veterans and staff using proven janitorial and housekeeping practices.
What You’ll Do
You’ll perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks with care and attention to detail. Typical responsibilities include:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform floor care including basic restoration tasks
- Empty trash, restock supplies, and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Perform occasional specialty tasks such as window cleaning and carpet spot cleaning
- Follow established cleaning schedules, safety guidelines, and infection-control procedures
Who You Are
You’re dependable, courteous, and take pride in creating a tidy, welcoming space. Experience as a janitor, cleaner, or housekeeper is preferred but not required—if you’re eager to learn, we’ll train you. You must be able to pass a background check and work well as part of a team.
Shift Details
We offer full-time shifts and will work with you to find a schedule that fits. Sample shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Weekends are required for this assignment. Night Owl Janitorial strives to place team members on consistent schedules wherever possible.
Compensation And Benefits
