Site Director - Parker

Night Lights is a nonprofit respite program serving families with children with special needs and their siblings. Our program provides a safe, accepting, and joy filled environment where children are paired 1:1 with trained volunteers while caregivers receive a much needed break.

Position Overview

Night Lights is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Site Director to help lead our Parker location. This volunteer leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, supporting families, and creating welcoming community experiences.

The Site Director oversees the monthly Night Lights event, supports volunteers and families, and helps ensure each respite night runs smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee one monthly Night Lights event
• Communicate with volunteers, families, and leadership teams
• Assist with volunteer coordination and check-in processes
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and organized environment
• Support activity setup, flow, and cleanup during events
• Work collaboratively with Night Lights leadership and onsite volunteers
• Utilize Microsoft Office programs for communication and basic organization

Qualifications

• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel preferred)
• Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
• Passion for supporting children with special needs and their families
• Ability to lead with warmth, flexibility, and professionalism
• Must pass a federal background check

Commitment

• One in person event per month in Colorado Springs
• Additional administrative and communication support throughout the month with volunteers and new families.
• This is primarily a volunteer position with a $200 monthly stipend provided
