Delivery Driver & Assembly Technician Night Hawks Transport LLC – Nashville, TN Night Hawks Transport LLC is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to help build our dedicated Nashville-area delivery and assembly team. This is a hands-on position involving delivery, product assembly, customer service, loading/unloading, and route work throughout Nashville and surrounding areas. Routes may also extend into areas such as Clarksville, Bowling Green, and other nearby markets. We are looking for people who can work efficiently, communicate well, take care of customers, and handle physical work without needing constant supervision. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate: Has reliable transportation Owns a reliable pickup truck — preferred, but not required Has a valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance Is comfortable driving throughout Nashville and surrounding areas Can safely lift, carry, load, and unload heavy items Is comfortable using basic hand and power tools Can assemble furniture, equipment, outdoor products, and similar customer items Can work inside customers’ homes and maintain a professional appearance Can follow route instructions, job notes, and company procedures Is dependable and shows up on time Can work independently and as part of a two-person team Is willing to undergo a background check and drug screening Previous experience in delivery, moving, furniture assembly, construction, handyman work, warehouse work, appliance delivery, or similar physical work is helpful, but extensive experience is not required. We are willing to work with the right person who is dependable and willing to learn. Job Duties Typical responsibilities may include: Picking up assigned products or orders Loading and securing items for transport Driving assigned delivery routes Delivering products to residential and commercial customers Carrying products into the delivery location Assembling products according to manufacturer instructions Using hand and power tools Taking required job documentation and completion photos Communicating with dispatch and customers Keeping the vehicle and work area clean Working with a driver/helper partner Completing multiple stops during a workday Some jobs are delivery only, while others may involve significant assembly or installation work. Schedule This position starts with approximately 2–3 days of training. Training is used to teach route procedures, delivery standards, assembly expectations, documentation requirements, customer service, and company procedures. After training, the position is expected to move to approximately 5 days per week, depending on route volume and operational needs. Routes may start early in the morning, and finish times depend on when the assigned route is completed. Applicants should be comfortable with flexible end times rather than expecting every workday to end at a fixed hour. Vehicle Requirements Having your own pickup truck is strongly preferred, especially for driver positions, but it is not required for every applicant. Applicants without a pickup truck may still be considered depending on the position, available company vehicles, and whether they are assigned as a driver or helper. If using a personal vehicle for company work, it must be reliable, properly insured, and capable of safely performing the assigned work. Night Hawks Transport provides cargo insurance for authorized company-related loads.
