What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant/Bar Server position at Night & Day Cafe?
Our restaurant is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Server to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a restaurant server position. Individuals interested in this position should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a team player who is self-motivated and able to independently troubleshoot any server issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to multi-task and be efficient.
- Be able to work as part of a team or independently.
- Have an understanding of food allergies and other dietary needs of customers.
- A good memory and the ability to remember orders, faces, and names of customers.
- Understand the menu and be helpful in suggesting food items.
- Ensure that the customer's dining experience is excellent.
- Know how to give change correctly.
- Follow health department regulations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.75 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
