As a Cook at Nifty Fifty’s, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and crafting meals to provide our guests with high-quality food. Your role is vital in ensuring an exceptional meal experience for our guests. You will work diligently to provide outstanding customer service, making our valued customers feel like part of our Nifty’s family.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prep, set up, and work the grill station
• Maintain product presentation, quality, portion, and cook time standards
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling in accordance to state board of health regulations
• Slice and chop meat, cheese, & other necessary food products
• Maintain proper food inventories in both the station and walk-in & freezer
• Communicate with servers/cashiers in a professional manner regarding customer orders
• Clean and sanitize the work area throughout the shift
• Clean, sanitize, and turn off equipment at the end of the night
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
• Other additional tasks management may need assistance with

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to place items on high and low shelves
• Ability to stand for long periods of times
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment, and other preparation materials
• Carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to wipe high and low shelves, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in station
