Essential Functions:
- Product Quality – areas of responsibility are:
- Good understanding of the Nifco Quality Policy
- e. Basic material knowledge
- f. Follows TPM guidelines
- Packaging Handling – areas of responsibility are:
- Locate, scan, and move packaging to presses based on Nifco Packaging Form
- Check labels and move WIP totes to the pack stations as needed
- Relabel Assembly WIP components and take to assembly staging area
- Prioritize packing of parts based on daily shortage list provided by scheduler
- Deliver Hot parts to shipping in a timely manor
- Drive hot parts to warehouse if needed to make on time shipment.
- Safety – areas of responsibility are:
- Ensures Lock Out/Tag Out procedures are followed
- b. Is familiar with and can locate MSDS sheets and is familiar with OSHA’s “Right to Know” policy
- Has basic Environmental knowledge
- Completes Safety Orientation
- Forklift Operation certification
- All other duties assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift certification required (by Nifco)
- Knowledge of injection molding process and raw materials
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
- Proven ability to handle distribution issues
- Knowledge and experience handling quality concerns
- Must be able to work independently with very little supervision
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the Company
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Must be able to work on feet for entire shift
