Job Summary: Prepare shipments based on written work instructions and procedures developed to meet specified requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Examine contents and compare with records, such as packing lists, to verify accuracy of incoming product.
- Scan and store shipments as designated.
- Complete documentation as required.
- Assist in cycle count procedures as requested.
- Participate in physical inventory as requested.
- Warehouse 5S
- Follow all safety guidelines and expectations.
- Behave in a manner that enhances the success of the Department and Company.
- Follow the documented ISO-9000:2000 plus the TS16949:2002 (preferred) documented inventory control function
- All other duties assigned.
Preferred Education:
- Must have high school diploma or GED
Preferred Experience/Skills/Requirements:
- Shipping, warehouse, quality control experience a plus
- Must be able to calculate simple math, use a calculator, with accuracy & efficiency to successfully complete essential functions
- Must be able to communicate verbally in English to a variety of internal personnel regarding movement of material, and trucking vendors
- Must be productive in a team environment
- Forklift certification required in specific areas
- Must be able to work overtime as required with notification.
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
