Toddler & Preschool Music Teacher (Ages 1–6) | Private Music School in Ocala, FL

About the Role

Nieves Music Studio is seeking an energetic and musically skilled Toddler & Preschool Music Teacher to join our growing team. This position combines two unique programs for young learners:

• Music & Movement (Ages 1–4): Weekly 45-minute group classes where children and their caregivers explore singing, rhythm, and movement through hands-on musical play.
• Early Music Lessons (Ages 3–6): Private one-on-one classes introducing foundational music concepts, music theory, rhythm, and a variety of instruments in a fun, age-appropriate way.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children and families, can balance structure with creativity, and feels confident singing, moving, and leading classes with energy.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging music and movement classes for toddlers and caregivers
• Teach private early-music lessons focused on fundamentals and exploration
• Guide children through melody, rhythm, and early instrument exposure
• Adapt lessons dynamically based on group energy and individual needs
• Maintain a fun, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Comfort singing, moving, and engaging with both children and adults
• Solid musical background and basic theory knowledge
• Experience teaching or working with young children required
• Understanding of early-education principles is a plus

Important: Applicants must have relevant training or experience working with young children and music.

Schedule & Pay

• 4–16 hours per week (recurring weekly classes)
• Pay: $20–$30/hour based on experience
