Job Overview
Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper (Food Service Industry) – Hartford or Fairfield, CT
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and independent Bookkeeper to join our team. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to build financial reports, and experience with inventory auditing. ON-SITE position
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare detailed financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Audit inventories across multiple locations to ensure accuracy and cost control.
- Visit business locations in Hartford, Stamford, Fairfield and Oxford, CT as needed.
- Work independently while communicating key insights to management.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with accounting software (a plus).
- Background in food service or inventory auditing (preferred).
