The Tax Team Assistant will contribute to our success by providing excellent service and consistent coverage of the tax paperwork process. This is a Temporary, Part Time beginning January 19, 2026 to mid-April 2026.Seeking to fill hours with three part time interns.
A successful candidate will be able to:
- navigate accurately between multiple software programs and multiple email boxes: Outlook, SafeSend, Teams, MFA, UltraTax, Track1099, Go File Room, Excel Spreadsheets, Quickbooks Time
- provide accurate document management of digital and paper tax files within the company network and client files
- gain functional knowledge of tax forms
- maintain a calm and composed demeanor among interruptions from clients and staff, phone calls, walk-ins and scheduled client meetings
- excel in the busyness of tax season and pressure of deadlines
- provide a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- coordinate weekly lunch orders, set up and clean up
- easily multi-task and accurately pick up where you left off
- able to work independently and part of a team
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a college or university tax or accounting program
- Extremely strong technical skills computer software, hardware, and general office equipment
Reading, Math, and Reasoning Skills
- Experience with computers, software applications, email, internet, and office equipment is required.
- Strong written and oral communications, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, service focus and time management skills required.
