We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our above market team as a Senior Consumer Sales Consultant for NIQ Consumer Panel Services in Western Europe. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-oriented sales professional who thrives in organisational matrix structures. You will have direct accountability for increasing client penetration of our key CPS solutions ‘above market’ by achieving personal revenue targets, boosting client pitch opportunities & win rates, securing project wins, showcasing new capability, and driving overall revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:
Driving New Client Acquisition: Lead the commercial strategy, outreach, positioning and pitching efforts to acquire new contracted consumer panel clients on a designated list of multi-national FMCG clients. This includes partnering regional ADs on client strategy, tailoring commercial pitch materials to a personalised client positioning, leveraging pilots & best practise, client commercial positioning & negotiation, and aligning with in-market new business functions to manage client pitch processes towards successful outcomes.
Matrix Working: As a senior member of the NIQ ‘Above-Market’ Consumer Panel Services team, you'll collaborate across the organization to achieve successes. You will partner the regional/global AD community on your designated clients. You will work in both ‘lead’ and ‘support’ capacity with the broader CPS Commercial leadership group. You will collaborate with the Customer Success team and key Operations and Product teams to ensure our Consumer Panel Services potential is fully realised and our innovations are informed and landed with impact. Your efforts will ultimately manage scale & complexity in bringing high-impact, cut-through value to clients
Business Performance & results: Take accountability for you number. Strategizing prospects & wins from ‘far out’ time horizons, whilst developing a healthy pipeline of short-term opportunities to deliver against monthly sales targets. Participate in decision-making processes and maintain high visibility across all functions to support the effective operation of the organization.
Expertise & Credibility: Help establish and elevate NIQ as the Consumer & shopper partner of choice. Drive exposure of thought leadership & empathetic connections with senior client stakeholders. Leverage internal partnerships with SA&I & Digital verticals to bring Full View Consumer impact & expertise to clients
Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Build and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities (ad-hoc and contractual), accurately forecast revenue using appropriate finance tools (including Microsoft Dynamics) and ensure timely documentation for billing. (All in partnership with ADs)
The ideal candidate will have:
Consumer/Shopper Panel Data Passion: Strong knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for consumer or shopper panel datasets, ideally within the FMCG industry. Understand the insight, and the client use cases/challenges in this space. Be able to bring NIQ USPs & Benefits to life credibly.
Client Acquisition Experience: Proven success in acquiring new clients and managing engagement strategies. Experience managing client RFP processes, delivering tailored client pitches, pricing & closing deals
Effective Communicator & Collaborator: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially in a regional or global matrix environment. Expert ability to influence and negotiate, with a track record of successfully overcoming barriers and challenges.
Keen business sense and experience in contract negotiations. Understand the client context and the NIQ goals & parameters. Experience or working with, or within, FMCG client insight departments and internal customers.
Proficient in project management, strategic planning, and thinking. Strong skills in developing and maintaining senior client relationships.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Track record of bringing solutions (not problems) to the table. Play for the wider WE CPS team
