What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection Molding Machine Operator position at Nicor Inc.?
Plastic Injection molding operators: 3 years exp. (prefered)
Texas owned company expanding operations in Schulenburg bringing local jobs with competative wages to energenic and highly motivated individuals.
Resonsibilities
- Follows Operator, packaging, Quality instructions.
- Learn and follow start-up and shut down proceedures
- Observe machine operation, remove parts, follow cooling fixture proceedures, follow secondary operation as defined in work order.
- Visually inspect all parts before boxing, seperating any nonconforming parts.
- Keep accurate count of good parts and nonconforming parts.
- Load and label shipping boxes with accuate count.
- Keep work area and machine clean
- Maintain production schedules.
- Trouble shoot general molding issues
- Pre-stage, preheat, installing, and removing molds from machine.
Requirments:
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to stand and walk through out an 8 hour shift.
- Must be able to be certified on forklift.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, kneel and bend.
- Mechanical skills a plus
- Operate drill presses and varrious hand tools.
- computer literate.
- supurb attendance.
On the job training will be provided as needed.
