Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Clinical Assistance: Preparing, cleaning, and sterilizing dental instruments and treatment rooms.
- Chairside Support: Passing instruments and supporting the dentist during cleanings, fillings, sealants, and X-rays.
- Patient Management: Calming anxious children, explaining procedures using simple language, and guiding them through visits to create a fun, safe atmosphere.
- Oral Health Education: Teaching children and parents proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional habits.
- Administrative Tasks: Updating patient dental records, scheduling appointments, and managing billing/coding on Dentrix Software.
- Preventive Care: Applying sealants, fluoride treatments
