Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager/Superintendent to lead construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of construction management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction site supervision, project scheduling, and management of subcontractors, with a passion for driving project success through proactive leadership and meticulous planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee daily construction site operations, supervising subcontractors and onsite personnel to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to track progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, blueprints, schematics, and change orders using tools like ProCore and Bluebeam.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and quality control standards; address any safety or quality issues promptly.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues swiftly.
- Prepare and review project budgets, estimates, and cost control measures; monitor expenditures closely throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize heavy-duty tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary; ensure all work aligns with technical specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or as a superintendent with a strong background in managing large-scale projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software including Primavera P6, Primavera (P3), Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Supervising experience on heavy civil or pipeline projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; familiarity with Ohmmeter testing is a plus.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
