Job Title: Restaurant Wait Staff
Restaurant servers are responsible for ensuring a positive experience for all guests in the restaurant by providing quick and quality service.
Required days and hours listed below.
Essential Job Functions
- Stocking and setting up the server stations prior to service
- Ensuring dining room is clean, set, and ready for service
- Keeping a positive and friendly attitude at all times when in customers' view.
- Ensure all patrons are of the legal drinking age if they are purchasing alcoholic beverages.
- Adhere to all food safety and quality standards and regulations.
- Breaking down all serving equipment making sure it is clean and put away properly.
- Greet customers in a timely manner, listening to their needs to determine food and beverage preferences and making recommendations as needed.
- Take customer’s orders making sure all allergies and dietary restrictions are noted and suggest upcharges when able.
- Serve food and beverages to patrons as they become ready.
- Decrumb and clean tables while guests are seated as well as cleaning and resetting tables as needed.
- Adhering to the necessary cleaning schedules to close down each shift.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit cards transactions to ensure all charges are accurate and returning the correct change to patrons
- If needed, answering the phones and taking takeout orders or noting down reservations for the host that is working that shift.
- Complete any other tasks the general manager and upper management may assign

Job Specifications:
- Must be a High School graduate or completed GED
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Must have 4 years of serving experience
- Must be able to maintain appropriate work pace, perform assigned tasks, and communicate orally.
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs, exchange information between staff and clients, and distinguish between different foods and beverages.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
Hours per week:
- 16-32
- Must be able to work Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and occasionally Friday.
Start time:
- Must be able to arrive at the restaurant at 3pm on Sundays and 4pm on other scheduled days.
