Duties
- Greet and assist guests arriving during night hours, providing friendly and professional customer service
- Conduct regular security patrols of the premises to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
- Perform thorough cleaning duties including vacuuming, floor care, and general sanitation of public areas, corridors, and guest rooms as needed
- Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and chemical agents, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
- Manage janitorial supplies, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Respond promptly to guest requests or issues, escalating concerns to management when necessary
- Follow hotel emergency procedures confidently in case of incidents or safety concerns
- Maintain detailed logs of nightly activities, security checks, and cleaning routines to ensure accountability and operational consistency
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles within hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely with proper understanding of chemical handling protocols and SDS information
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations
- Experience with hotel housekeeping management or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and security
