What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic/ Small Engine Technician position at Nicolai Repair?
Small engine, lawn mower and general repair mechanic. Must have a good mechanical understanding and must be able to clean a carburetor and adj valves and trouble shoot efficiently. Must be physically healthy and able to lift at least 50 pounds._ Must own your own tools_. Must be able to hear well. A good basic understanding of computers a plus. Duties can include looking up parts and helping customers. 40-50 hrs a week, overtime after 40 hrs when busy. Maybe asked to work some Saturdays. Paid holidays. Paid vacation after 1 year. Possible health insurance reimbursement. Must be reliable and have a valid drivers license. We sell new and repair lawn and garden and some small farm equipment. We are a small business, 3-4 employees. Pay will be based on knowledge, experience, and efficiency. (The more you make us the more you get paid.)
