Responsibilities
- Poke & seafood sales counter
- Food handling
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey.
- Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately to process retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and adherence to cash handling procedures.
- Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about store merchandise and features.
- Upsell products by recommending complementary items to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and reconcile cash at the end of shifts following store policies.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
- Support inventory management by participating in stocking activities and product replenishment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent service delivery.
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions is advantageous.
- Supervising experience or leadership roles are a plus, demonstrating ability to guide team members when needed.
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base effectively.
