Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction tasks, support skilled tradespeople, and contribute to the successful completion of building projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools
- Support skilled workers by carrying out basic tasks such as mixing concrete, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
- Assist in the installation of structures, framing, or other construction components as directed
- Ensure materials are stored properly and report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
