Quality Assurance Inspector – Metal Coil Receiving

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to inspect incoming metal coil shipments at our warehouse. This position is responsible for identifying damage, taking photographs, verifying shipping documents, and maintaining accurate inspection records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming metal coils for damage, defects, and discrepancies.
• Take clear, detailed photographs of shipments, product identification, and any visible damage.
• Verify bills of lading, packing lists, and other shipping documents for accuracy.
• Document and promptly report damage, shortages, or paperwork discrepancies.
• Ensure all required paperwork is properly completed, signed, and exchanged.
• Maintain accurate, organized inspection records.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and management.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures.

• Previous warehouse, receiving, or quality inspection experience preferred.

Work Environment:

Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, standing and walking for extended periods, and working around forklifts and heavy materials while following all safety requirements.
