Key Responsibilities
- Support, troubleshoot, and optimize production equipment, test systems, and plant controls.
- Develop and maintain PLC, HMI, and automation programs.
- Provide support for Rockwell PLC platforms, NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and Ignition SCADA.
- Develop testing protocols, test equipment specifications, and SQL-based data collection systems.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and electrical safety standards.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree in Engineering.
- 5 years of Controls Engineering or Test Engineering experience.
- Experience with:
- Rockwell Automation (RSLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk)
- PLC & HMI Programming
- SQL Databases
- Visual Basic / Visual Studio
- Industrial Controls & Safety Systems
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must be located near Waukesha, WI or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and Ignition SCADA.
- Electrical testing and test automation experience.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Experience in an Engineered-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment.
