Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments using various packaging materials, ensuring all orders are accurately picked, packed, and labeled for delivery
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, recording discrepancies or damages as needed
- Manage stock replenishment by stocking shelves and organizing inventory within the warehouse distribution area
- Assist with order picking using order pickers and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders, including e-commerce orders
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or order fulfillment roles
- Strong basic math skills for counting inventory, calculating weights or measurements, and verifying order quantities
- Knowledge of packaging standards and best practices for secure shipment of goods
- Experience with picking & packing techniques to optimize speed and accuracy in order processing
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in stock handling and documentation
