Digital Marketing & Creative Assistant
Part-Time or Full-Time | On-site | Boyne City, MI
Nickel Design, Inc. is seeking a creative, organized and digitally savvy individual to join our collaborative marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, engaging with online communities, tracking trends and helping clients grow their digital presence.

Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule and manage social media content across multiple client accounts
- Monitor engagement, respond to messages and comments, and help build online presence
- Track performance and assist with social media reporting
- Support email marketing campaigns, promotions and event marketing
- Write creative, engaging social media copy
- Maintain/monitor digital client listings
- Maintain internal project schedules and calendars
- Jump in to help with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain existing websites
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience managing social media accounts for businesses and organizations; personal social media experience helpful
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile
- Understanding of marketing analytics and performance metrics
- Experience with CRM and POS marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Toast, Little Green Light and/or NEON
- Basic photography, video editing, and content creation skills
- Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Website editing and SEO understanding
Bonus Skills
- Experience creating short-form video content, such as reels and stories
- Graphic design experience
- Photography or videography experience
- Familiarity content planning and/or project management tools
- Experience working with small businesses, tourism, healthcare, hospitality and/or nonprofit organizations
