We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Garage Door Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial garage doors and their components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, as well as experience in commercial garage door installation and service diagnosing. This position requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair various types of garage doors, including various commercial models.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of garage door systems.
• Troubleshoot issues with garage door mechanisms and provide effective solutions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for repairs and installations.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical work, remodeling, or related fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical components of garage doors.
• Familiarity with drywall installation is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
