Summary:
- Provides physical labor as part of a crew or independently to complete project related tasks in accordance with NCC and OSHA safety regulations.
- Project is located at Garrison Dam near Bismarck, ND. Duration 3 months
Description:
- Complete various tasks around the project
- Ensure that all Nicholson and OSHA safety regulations are followed and enforced; responsible for safety on site
- Ensure that all Nicholson quality standards are met
- Attend safety meetings and provide input as needed
- Work as part of a crew and take direction from supervisors
- Focus on daily and weekly goals for the project with a high level of attention to detail
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED along with 1 year of construction industry / general laborer experience
- Ability to use various tools
- Ability to thoroughly follow directions given by supervisors to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to work as part of a crew
- Ability to focus on daily and weekly goals for the project
- Knowledge of applicable OSHA and Nicholson safety rules
Physical Requirements:
- Reaching high and low, stooping, and bending continually
- Lifting/carrying/moving up to 100 pounds
- Requires a high degree of concentration in a busy and noisy construction environment
- Requires working in all types of weather
