Job Description
Position Title: Pump Assembly
Department: Pump Operations Employee Type: Hourly

Essential Functions:
- Build or assemble components using a variety of hardware/tools in accordance with standard work instructions
- Use hand tools, soldering and additional equipment required for process
- Conduct tests according to process instructions; respond to machine feedback
- Maintain and organize data and systems in accordance with customer requirements and/or TS 16249/ISO 9001 & 14001 standards
- Perform daily functional and quality equipment checks to ensure production readiness
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection techniques
- Enter data, review and identify inconsistencies
- Adhere to safety, quality and productivity policies, practices, and guidelines
- Understand the basic operation of process equipment
- Interact effectively with co-workers and internal support departments
- Maintain equipment and work areas; troubleshoot as problems arise
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrates a high-level attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Experience with soldering and assembly functions preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Intermediate math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to succeed in and promote a team environment
- Visual acuity and dexterity with small components
- Reliable and dependable
- Flexibility to alter work schedule for timely completion of production requirements when necessary
Job related demands (i.e. physical, travel):
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods (3 hours)
- Ability to conduct processes that are repetitive
- Ability to work in an environment with powdered metal, dust, noise, oils and chemicals
- Occasional lift objects of weight up to 35 lbs.
