We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Install Manager to lead our plumbing installation teams on commercial and residential construction projects. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise plumbing installation teams on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety standards.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems within overall construction plans.
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding apparatus, and other mechanical tools necessary for installation tasks.
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation practices, quality control, and compliance with building codes and specifications.
- Manage inventory of plumbing materials and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and proper maintenance.
- Train and mentor team members in plumbing techniques, safety procedures, and the use of specialized tools such as schematics for HVAC or remodeling projects.
- Ensure heavy lifting procedures are followed safely during pipe installation or remodeling activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety incidents, and compliance reports throughout each project phase.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in commercial or industrial projects.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, assembly, remodeling, and HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of carpentry skills related to plumbing installations or remodeling projects is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Valid driver's licensefor site travel requirements.
