Duties
- Lead and supervise plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and systems
- Coordinate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC specialists, and other trades to facilitate seamless project progress
- Perform construction estimating for plumbing components, including material quantities and labor costs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently and safely
- Conduct field service tasks such as pipe fitting, remodeling work, system troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
- Oversee heavy lifting operations and ensure proper use of lifting equipment for large pipes or heavy components
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems in commercial or residential settings
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical principles relevant to plumbing projects
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and carpentry techniques
- Ability to perform construction estimating accurately for materials and labor costs
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Prior experience on construction sites with familiarity in remodeling, maintenance work, and field service operations
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel or material transport
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
