Nicholas Water Service LLC is a small business in Zenda, KS. We are a transportation company providing Ag hauling services to the KS & OK area. We are a family owned business with over 45 years in the industry! We have day cabs and sleeper cabs that pull belt trailers. We also run trucks in the oilfield that run locally and have a few Conestogas for our Regional/OTR trucks.
We're looking for a Class A Driver, with driving experience, to join our team. Ag experience would be a great addition, but is not required. To succeed in this position, the right candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working within a close-knit team. This position is an extremely flexible position-you make your own hours (perfect for early risers!) for the day, all that we ask is that your loads are ran in a timely manner. You are home every night, off every other weekend and work only 1 day of your weekend to work.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a semi-truck with air brakes and manual transmission.
- Be familiar with the trucking industry.
- Drive a safe vehicle.
- Operate a semi-truck solo.
- Drive to multiple destinations each day.
- Be in good health.
- Have a current Medical Card and be able to pass a drug test.
- Be self-motivated and a good communicator.
