Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, hygienic environment that meets our high standards for quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting our team’s operational excellence.
Schedules: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, breakrooms, restrooms and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
- Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain sanitation standards.
- Follow safety protocols for chemical handling to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of supplies or equipment to prevent injury.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any facility issues or safety concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures to ensure safe usage and storage.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs or painting is a plus.
