The Nicholas Family of Companies, located in Mt. Prospect, IL, is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to administer employee benefits and process payroll for multiple companies.
Payroll & Benefits Manager’s Responsibilities:
- Create and send companywide notifications
- Coordinate announcements for new hires and promotions
- Update and maintain team member profiles
- Employee onboarding and offboarding
- Assist the Director of HR with annual benefit renewals
- Coordinate new employee technology needs
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices
- Process employee expense reports
- Enroll employees for their insurance benefits
- Administrate annual employee open enrollment benefits | new employee benefit enrollment
- Provide annual updates to the benefit open enrollment employee documents
- Responsible for the intern program
- Liaison to the company’s benefits broker
- Coordinate and promote the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Maintain the following documents: field team contact list | updates to employee director | birthdays | Anniversary dates
- Process company payroll
- Process company Health Savings Account deposits
- Process employee 401(k) contributions
- Maintain employee personnel files
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Review and reconcile payroll reports
- Address employee payroll questions promptly and professionally
