As the world’s largest supplier of LED's our sales offices in the U.S. are responsible for bringing these products to our customer for use in applications such as display, LCD backlighting, automotive and general applications.
We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong understanding of the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree or higher
- Ability to speak Japanese and Spanish or just Spanish desired
- be well organized
- Ability to travel to visit cusomers 2 or 3 times per year
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Generate new sales leads through cold-calling and other methods.
- Conduct customer needs analysis to determine best solutions for customer needs.
- Provide customer service and support for existing customers.
- Develop and maintain a database of customer information.
- Provide product information to customers and answer questions about products.
- Follow up on sales leads and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Handle forecasting, quoting, internal analysis and have some limited ability to process orders (mainly samples, etc.)
- The role is not to hunt new projects but to maintain the operational side of the business
- Interface with the customer related to operations.
- Work with customer and Account Managers to make sure quotes and internal quoting system are up to date.
- Work with customers, Account Managers, and internally to make sure the forecasting system is accurate (mainly numbers), and adjust as they see fit based on input from customer, Account Managers, management, etc.
- Work with customers, Account Managers and Sales Associate’s to make sure stock is at the right levels, summaries are up to date, the right parts are being stocked, help handle urgent orders, make sure all the relevant internal and external parties are involved. Communicate with customer often to make sure operations are running smooth.
- Assist with new projects, samples, follow-up, etc.
- Prepare ordering, stock, sales summaries for management, as needed.
- Learn all systems related to Account Manager’s and Sales Associate’s and help as needed in addition to helping management identify areas of improvement.
- Periodically input orders related to samples.
- Learn the products, binning and some technical items to advise customers to make changes, substitutions, etc.

Pay: $40,027.00 - $46,402.00 per year
