Title: Structural Concrete Estimator

Location: Richmond, VA

Salary: Up to $130K

Client: We're partnered with a Richmond-based family-owned industrial contractor delivering concrete, steel and metal building solutions, primarily in brownfield environments. The company operates across chemical, pharmaceutical, and pulp & paper sectors, focusing on quick-turn, high-trust industrial work throughout Virginia, and North Carolina. All while maintaining a strong local presence and deep client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead estimates for concrete scopes on industrial brownfield projects.
• Collaborate directly with owners, engineers, and internal project managers.
• Produce multiple estimates per week, often pricing jobs between $500K–$2M.
• Attend site visits and build client relationships.
• Use and adapt Excel-based templates for take-off and pricing.
• Support internal handoffs and contribute to subcontractor buyout.

Requirements:

• 5 years of Structural Concrete Estimating (or field operations with estimating experience), preferably in industrial or heavy structural concrete.
• Strong understanding of field execution and constructability.
• Experience in brownfield industrial settings (chemical, pharma, pulp & paper).
• Familiarity with sitework, demolition, and existing facility constraints.
• Proficiency with Excel (no formal software system).
• Methodical, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple bids simultaneously.
