The Opportunity:

What You’ll Do:
- Analyze & Quantify: Perform accurate takeoffs and conceptual estimates from schematic through construction documents.
- Scope & Collaborate: Review bid packages, define scopes of work, and communicate directly with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Value Engineer: Lead value engineering efforts to provide cost-saving solutions without sacrificing project integrity.
- Win Bids: Prepare comprehensive, competitive bid proposals and present them effectively to project stakeholders.
What You Need to Succeed:
- 3 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
- Proficiency with modern estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating or On-Screen Takeoff).
- Strong understanding of Charleston-area subcontractor markets and regional material pricing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
